15 Aug 26 Last day on the Africa Mercy Ships.

On the Road Again!

Departure Day:

1. Had my morning coffee
2. Final Packing
3. Had my cabin inspected.
4. Collected some items from Julie, the captain’s wife to take back to the states.
5. Joined my friends by the pool for some sun.
6. Started writing my final blog post.
7. Carried my luggage down to the dock.
8. Gathered with those leaving and those staying to say goodbye.
9. Traditional Goodbye “Arch”
10. Shuttle ride to the airport.
11. First flight of four to return home.
12. Shuttle ride to San Cristobel
13. Check in
14. Dinner with everyone who is leaving
15. Repack to redistribute and get down to the allotted number of bags
16. SLEEP I could barely keep my eyes open
