Cindy Jenson Medical Missions

I am finally doing something I have wanted to do for a very long time. I had hoped to start back in 2020 however circumstances did not allow and then COVID hit. Over the last year I have completed the process to volunteer on Mercy Ships providing anesthesia on the Africa Mercy in Madagascar.

I begin my journey from Boston on July 31 and arrive August 1. My service begins August 2 and I will be there for two weeks. I return on August 17 after another 24+ hours of travel.

I will be journaling as I travel and serve and will try to post daily while on my mission. Please follow along and enjoy as I explore a new continent, country and culture.

I hope this will be the first of four annual missions that will end in 2029 when I retire. Where and when to be determined!
